NICKEL HAND SWAGES

At Dolphin Marine we can supply swages 1.5mm up to 6.5mm in nickel plated (Chrome) bright copper for stainless steel stranded wire or aluminium swages for galvanised stranded wire. We also stock a full range of machine press “hydraulic” ferrules in the same sizes for industrial clients.
Dolphin Marine swages have been used in Australian industry from mining to riggers, yachtsmen, marine chandlers, gymnasium equipment, hospital & therapeutic beds & equipment, architectural rigging such as balustrading, awnings, pergolas & lighting. Widely used in the commercial fishing industry & for the security of valuables in showrooms.

  • Nickel plated copper swages, also available in plain copper!
  • Sizes ranging from 1.6mm – 6.4mm (1/16″-1/4″)
  • Suitable for marine use or 1000’s of industrial and architectural uses.
  • Rope swages to suit 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm & 12mm. Also available in plain copper!
  • Range of swage tools available to suit every swage size!
  • Wire cutters & accessories available to suit!
  • Available in packets of 100, 500, 1000.
  • The swages are annealed prior to nickel plating, this allows the copper to penetrate the strands of the wire. The copper becomes plasticised during swaging and therefore penetrates the structure of the wire.
  • Correctly done the wire will break and the swage will not slip! (N.B. On the larger sizes we recommend that 2 swages be used in high load situations)
